Below: Smartphoto documentation and social media description.
Description created with artist and exhibition statement provided by exhibiting artists.
We used a smartphone to deliver this media quickly as there were multiple projects
that required attention in tandem.

for Neutral Ground Artist Run Centre.

Below: Poster and sticker designs for multimedia artist group event, which  panel, and screening.
POSTER GRAPHICS: I used Adobe illustrator to create the poster designs.
STICKER DESIGN: I used a combination of Adobe Illustrator (Emergent design asset)
and Canva (layout and distribution of sticker) to design the sticker materials.

Poster created for panel discussion on international student workers
Created during my term as a Unit 1 Steward for Cupe 3906
at McMaster University.
Used Adobe Photoshop.
This is a final iteration I completed before passing it for completion to the organizing host.

What I would do differently now:
Since it is difficult to collaborate on Adobe Photoshop files I would have instead completed visual assets first on Photoshop and then use Canva to produce the finalized poster design and layout, so that colalborators can create small edits (adding or editing words, and adding logos) without undermining pixelation quality.

At the moment of designing this poster, I had a hangup with Canva as I found it generated monotonous designs and was weary of its AI functions which may scrape my artistic work and those of other artists without our consent.
Ultimately I think Canva holds itself as a viable and efficient tool for
design collaboration, and allowing for quick deliverables. I just wouldn't use its text to image generator tools as I have enough skills as an illustrator and designer to create my own original work, and plus AI generated images are often unpleasant-looking, uncanny, clich
é , etc.

Poster I designed for my experimental short animated film, Transfusion (2023).
Designed using Adobe Photoshop and Cinema 4D.

for the Saskatchewan Filmpool Co-operative during 2020.

A sample of design material for the SIFA awards (Saskatchewan Indepedent Film Awards)
Graphic with filmmaker and sponsorship mention.

Used adobe photoshop and stock materials to create layout.
Featured images submitted by filmmakers.

What I would do differently now: I would consider a more subtle font instead of the bold Arial font which I've used.
Future design considerations: clarity for small graphics on social media as well as design appeal.
